This is a reworked photography series, that first an installation using slide projectors. The images are of thin films of plastic taken from a ‘China Bag’, also known as Khondzekhaya. A bag that has long been a symbolism of im/migration because of it’s use as a carrier of people’s livlihoods accross provinces and national borders. The use of the slide projector made it possible to have a microscopic or forensic kind of looking.
